Overview

Ironset Studio LLC ("Ironset Studio", "we", "us", or "our") operates the VoyageLog mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal information, and we collect only what is necessary to provide and improve our services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive a unique user ID and optionally an email address (depending on your privacy settings with Apple or Google).
  • Trip and travel data: Information you enter into VoyageLog, including trip names, destinations, dates, itineraries, packing lists, accommodation and transport details, and activity information.
  • Documents: Files you upload to your account (Explorer plan), such as booking confirmations or travel documents.
  • Support communications: Messages you send us through the support form or by email.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Basic app usage information such as feature interactions and error logs, used to improve the app and fix bugs.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your location data.
  • We do not track your browsing activity outside of VoyageLog.
  • We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics platforms that share data with third parties for advertising purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the VoyageLog service
  • Sync your data across your devices
  • Process subscription payments (via Stripe)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Send important service updates (not marketing emails)
  • Improve the app and fix bugs

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Documents are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

VoyageLog uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and trip data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your trip data

Children's Privacy

VoyageLog is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notification.
